Your guest data lives on Google's servers.
Reso is built on Google Firebase. Your bookings, guest details and ID photos are stored in Google's cloud, which Google protects with encryption and independent security audits.
What Google provides
These are Google's statements about Firebase.
- Encrypted in transitGoogle says Firebase services encrypt data in transit using HTTPS.
- Encrypted at restGoogle says it encrypts customer content at rest by default. This covers Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage, where Reso keeps your data.
- Independent auditsGoogle says all Firebase services have completed ISO 27001 and SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3 evaluations.
- Your data is yoursYou own your data. Reso only processes it to run the app, and Google processes it for Reso.

Who can see what
Plainly, so there are no surprises.
- Your teamStaff you add can reach your property's bookings and guests. Roles such as Manager and Receptionist change which screens each person sees in the app.
- Other Reso customersNo. Each property can only reach its own records.
- Reso's admin teamReso's platform admins can also access records.
- Guest ID photosStored in Cloud Storage. Only that property's staff and Reso's admins can open them.
- The publicOnly what you choose to publish on your Reso Stays page. Guests' booking requests are never public.
Your part.
A few habits keep your guests' details safe.
- Lock your phoneReso has no PIN lock of its own yet, so your phone's lock is the first door.
- Guard your passwordDo not share your login. Give each staff member their own.
- Add only people you trustStaff can reach all of your property's guest records. Remove people when they leave.
- Ask before you collectGet guests' consent for phone numbers and ID photos. Our privacy policy says you are responsible for it.
What we don't claim.
- No online service can promise zero risk, and neither can we. Our privacy policy says this too.
- The audits above are Google's, for the Firebase platform. Reso is not separately certified.
- We do not add our own encryption on top of Google's. We rely on Google's protections.
Data questions.
Where is my data stored?
On Google's Firebase. Bookings, guests and invoices are in Cloud Firestore. Guest ID photos and your property photos are in Cloud Storage for Firebase.
Is Reso certified?
The ISO and SOC audits above belong to Google's Firebase platform. Reso itself is not separately certified. We rely on Google's protections for the data.
Can other Reso customers see my guests?
No. Each property can only reach its own records.
Can Reso see my data?
Reso's platform admins can access records. We use your data only to run, improve and secure Reso, as our privacy policy says.
Can I delete my data?
There is no delete button in the app yet. Write to support@resoapp.in and tell us what you need.
Are guests' booking requests from Reso Stays shared or sold?
No. Details a guest sends through Reso Stays are stored in Firebase, shown only to the property's team and not sold or shared for marketing.
